apart the celebrated rare piece of improvisation known as Grooving With A Pict, this show offers other fascinating versions of The Embryo and ASOS, about all the performance is out of the ordinary!
it's a must-have for any collector and for any Floyd fan.
tape noise is practically undetectable (NR?),it's the complete performance ... no-cuts, no-fading and stuff ... the entire recording with no sorta omission.
This came as upgrade to the treed "Ernst-Merck Halle" RoIO... it seems as the first E-M would have many things in common with the RoIO Grooving With A Pict whereas this 'upgrade' version should be more or less the same as the DFA release.
The T version is to prefer to all the others circulating so far.
Doug C notes:
‹‹ [...] First I don't have the tape for this show. The version we treed came from a guy in Holland. It's OK but the newer source is better.
The new source came from a trading partner in the States.
Corrosion and Embryo are indexed separately so I left it that way.
Here are the differences as I see them:
Treed version:
Poorly faded track transitions
Between track "noises" missing
Hiss
New version:
Smooth track changes for the most part
Lot's of weird between track tuning and noises
The hiss is gone.
This version was put together from two first generation sources.
