notes:
Yet
another version from master clone of the most common recorder of the gig, this
is no upgrade, cuts short on
the applauses at the very end, like the other Master Clones in circulation; the
RIPF has another version always from master clone on another DVD of the series,
slightly more powerful in sound than the one on "Tape 8", with the same
contents.
additional notes from the indexed version by buffalofloyd
This is such a great sounding tape! I used the Master I have to compare this
tape against...
“Master”- (cass[M]>DAT[3]>cdr(1)>wav>EAC>shn) [121:49] shn EX-/EX (runs a bit
slow / missing the final greetings / Recorder 1)
It seems the Master above is about 6db louder than this version presented here.
I amplifiedthis Reeling version as a test and if boosted 6db they will sound the
same.
At the begining of this tape during the Intro there is a lot of digi-noise I
didn't even tryto reduce. This digi-noise is not on the Master.
Breathe has some digi issues at 4:57 into the tape. There was a gap suroounded
by noise. I removed this problem and repaired it. You wouldn't even notice.
There is some digi-noise on Echoes on the Master above. Here none of that is
present, which isa relief. It was possibly a result of the DAT>cdr transfer Im
guessing.
Both of these Masters are missing the final greetings but this Reeling version
is missing just 1 second more at the end compared to the other Master above.
I removed some leading and trailing silences. Overall this is a very very nice
version. Sucksabout the digi-noise at the very begining though.
