notes:
SHELTER-National Campaign for the Homeless benefit
Little hiss perceptible on the first set only, a real pleasure to listen to, to prefer to the MoLM release and all the others around. It comes from the alternate recorder of the gig, different from the one used for the LP ‘The Great Gig In The sky’ .
this recording has more pieces of music: intros, greetings and tunings and, above all, Set The Controls is here included and complete. Echoes and OotD are here 100% complete as well.
It has a wrong speed as the other source though ... here is not so annoying anyway.
the tape flip mentioned in the text above is actually due to the union of two sources, this recorder seems to have missed the last part of the Dark Side set (from the end of ACYL to Eclipse) ... it is here filled with the other recorder (that's exactly recorder 1 - same as the one used for 'The Great Gig In The Sky' LP) ..One Of These Days
is then again from recorder 2.

notes as they come with the files:
<< This comes from a 4th Gen tape, and the sound is VG+. The crowd is very pleasant and quiet which is always nice. The speed is just a tad to fast but it isn't really that annoying (I do have a speed corrected version, but I do prefer a clean untouched source over one that has been remastered). The performance is just great. The middle section of CWTAE is just plain sick, one of the best primal screams you are going to hear from Roger!!! A great Echoes as well. Typical Dark Side set, there is a cut between the two parts of the set, most likely for a tape flip. >>

There's also an indexed version of this 4thGen.; I got it in a second moment and was supposed to be completely from the second recorder but it turned out to be the same as this 4thGen. version (same tot length even), the only difference is that it has the tracks indexed differently
