notes:
mm this sounds more or less like the
version from the 4th gen. (maybe they used that as source?)
this Akashic release was noisereduced, amplified and speedcorrected (that's why
it lasts more than the 4th gen. ; there's nothing more included here that's not
in the 4th gen.).
the 4th gen. sounds really crispier than this.
It can be nice if you don't have another version from this 2nd recorder of the
gig (that was till now quite rare to find) but it's surely not the best version
around.
the bonus tracks (Wembley November 16 1974) are from the common SBD source in a
not very good condition.
they got the version with the "fu**ing years" line present but mixed differently
from the original (the line is audible in the back).
NB: the spectral analysis reveals a clear lossy source, since these files are
supposed to have been ripped out from an Akashic's silver copy (or 'official'
copy, I dunno if silver) I guess the Japanese men released this directly from a
lossy source ... make your conclusion ... |
