Overall sound quality isn't better than previous version I had, but that
was boosted a lot ... and hiss were smoothed someway.
Here it's all as it should be, no muffled sound and a bit less of music presence
in some parts (and more hiss) but at least no
shrilling.
The recording isn't really good, sounds distant and hissy with many sound
fluctuations and speed problems here and there.
Contents are about the same as on the other version I got as well: little flips
between POTW part1 and Dogs (Dogs here has the
beginning missing as on my other version), between Dogs and POTW par2, between
POTW part2 and Pigs and other little flips on
SOYCD 1-5 and 6-9 too, all as on the other version I had, again.
It seems also like the mic (or the recorder) has been hidden and disclosed
several times during the gig, which would explain some
distortions and some changes of sound quality / volume during the songs, but I
can't prove it of course, in the other CD version I have these changes are not
that distinct.
I didn't do anything to the recording apart some channel balancing (left channel
of side A was too low ); I've also
speedcorrected it cause it sounded a little fast but apart the general
speedcorrection there are still many points with speed
problems that were on the actual master maybe. |
