notes:

This is the real recording from radio broadcast of the 72-12-5 show ....or rather it's part of it. This was recently broadcasted on Belgian Radio1 ... I don't know of any other version of this show (old or new) apart this. I'd bet (as obvious) that the archives have more of it!
Very nice pictish rants on CWTAE, soo nice to listen to the genuine recording of this gig at last! Unfortunately the DJ talks on Time and there's an interview mixed over the first notes of CWTAE ... this is how it was broadcasted.
This should be from the same recorder/source as
source 1 although, having different contents, I can't be 100% sure of it.
is surely from the same concert as the known 1972 December 2 audience recording ...
as this broadacat revealed and the audience recorder 2 later also, the 12-5 is the correct date for this performance.

The version from webstream has obvious compression catchable on headphones very clearly, the version 1 supposed from FM (not from webstream) sounds actually like the webstream although the frequencies "look" intact while the version2 from FM sounds like a reliable non-webstream version.

notes as they came with the files for the recorder 2 - source 2 - version 2

WHAT DID SHE SAY?
"En dan nu, voor de laatste keer deze maand, een stel ouwe zakken in Cucamunga.: PF"
"And now, for the last time this month: some old bastards in Cucamunga: PF"
"PF, met een variatie op CWTAE en daarvoor Time, allebei opgenomen op 5 december in Vorst Nationaal."
"PF, With a variation of CWTAE and therefore Time, both were recorded on december the 5th (1972) at Vorst Nationaal"
Hi, I'm the guy who recorded this in 2005 from the radio - broadcasting. The program was called "Cucamunga". I don't know the existance of another source of this date.
and I also have no idea if the Belgian radio recorded the complete concert at that time. During the rebroadcasting there were only this two tracks.
I have no idea what te date or the place of te interview is you can hear at the begin of CWTAE: Is that just before the concert? Or an old fragment of another date?
Anyway, Enjoy!

review from Brain-damage.co.uk:
Pink Floyd on Radio 1 Belgium
Last night saw an unusual, vintage recording of Pink Floyd, broadcast on Belgian radio.
As part of Radio 1 Belgium's Cucamonga show, excerpts from the band's 5th December 1972 concert at the Sport Palais Vorst Nationaal in Brussels were aired.
Whilst the sound quality wasn't fantastic, it was great to hear. Starting with a version of Time, that was typical of the 1972 performances (with a nice guitar solo), one also heard Breathe Reprise (slightly strained vocals from David Gilmour on this one). An excerpt from the hilarious 1969 interview they undertook in Blackpool, England for a university publication follows, and things are concluded with a well-paced version of Careful With That Axe, Eugene (which features a short passage of Roger's Scottish ranting!).
The show was streamed on their website, and if you wish to hear the recording for yourself, go to Radio 1's Cucamonga page, click on "Behister de jongste uitzending", and on the radio player that launches, select your chosen quality based on your bandwidth/connection speed. The Floyd segment comes just after an hour into the show. The show will be available for one week.
Our thanks to Bart Azare and Pol Van Acoleyen for letting us know about this rather unusual airing!
