notes:
Maybe from different 1st gen than the version entitled " SILENT REPROACH" although it isn't still clear, this 1st gen transferred in 2004 sounds better [much less hiss] and is longer, with more intermissions, including a longer intro [that's still patrial anyway].
Two versions are available, one having silences and one without them [reindexed]. Sound Quality of the 2 is 100& the same. Read carefully the notes here below for more info.

version 1 : notes as they came with the files
Hi All, I am back with one of two Wall shows that has been sent to me since I started seeding all my other Wall shows. Information below is as provided by the person who supplied this.
2/26/80
Taped by XXXXXX, loc mid rightside w/nakamichi 550 using [2]nak 700 shotguns w/nak700 omni blend, this show at times you think your getting hit on the head.
You can here the sound effects moving around like no other wall recording, beautiful and capturing, I also did the transfer myself. This without question is one of the better sounding shows.
For some unknown reason, the master disappeared in the early 80s but a 1st gen cass survived, the reason that this show never made it out was He felt it didn't compare to the last night. Years later, Feb 2004, I did the transfer . WE WERE SHOCKED!! You are getting this as it was sent to me no remastering at all.
Enjoy

This is all information I got about this gem. The best sounding version from this recorder.
[I have to admit there is a better sounding version of this show around, but from a different recorder.]
After a bad start punctuated with cuts and volume changes into 'In The Flesh?', the sound quality remains stable, hitting a VG+/Ex-. It sounds a little bit distant and echoing sometimes, but it isn't very distracting and you get used to it after a few minutes. The sound is very clear and the hiss is minimal. The bass is loud but not saturating the bottom frequencies. The main backdraws are that aweful start and some little cuts. For full details about the cuts, see the show identifier below. Some tracks weren't split very well when I received this, and I had to remove some gaps. Another noticeable thing is a problem with the playback tape for "The Trial" and a flaw of the PA system / quadrophenic effect, which makes some words of the first verse unhearable.
It seems there are two recorders for this night. One of them had problems with his pause button during "CN" and "The Show Must Go On". This is from the other taper, since those two songs are spotless and certainly not patched from another night.
All I did is reindex the tracks, make this infofile, generate md5's, give it a name and distribute it widely with kind permission of my source. All the credits goes to my source and of course the taper who did a really nice job! Without these people ... etc. You know who you are. ;-]
