truly nice recording, apart being a rarely circulated alt recorder
for
some
time: hiss
is not so marked and does not cover the performance at all, instruments are all
well defined, just the vocal parts tend to sound not perfect at times.
There are little tics like static almost all along the tape, these are on the
tape. I chose not even to try to touch them leaving all raw.
This is one of the few times a tape turns out transferred so nice without trying
to understand how to put the stereo equalizer, I just left it in the classic V
position and it was perfect.
There are little stops on the recording between some songs but just few seconds
are missing, these occurred prolly on the master or in low copies of the master,
I made most of the index marks to coincide with these stops.
No
fade
in/out.
I joined side A&B on the beginning of ABITW, the point of junction is pretty
evident since the 2 sides sound a bit different one another (it's at minute:
4:07 inside the Don't Leave Me Now track).
The intro is totally missing at the beginning.
A
supposedly
master
clone
of
this
source
is
lately
in
circulation
with
the
intro
patched
from
recorder

"Do you like our pig? We don't like him very much. Right, that's enough fun.
Home piggy. This next one is for all you disco fans, got a nice bouncy beat,
it's called Run Like Hell" |
