notes:

from a genuine 1st generation copy of the masters, the vesion labeled "From the masters" should be actually from a copy of 1st or 2nd generation of the masters. This version doesn't have that hum in the back and the bass-rumbling that appears on those "from the master" cds sometimes.
The contents are about the same, but there are different points where the tapes change side, evidence of the fact that the cds labeled as "from the master" are really a copy of another 1stGen tape. Only the stop before the intro to RLH is here like on the version "from the master". Here there' s also a small piece of taper-chatting at the very beginning more.

from Martin Balsam tapes borrowed and transferred by pinkrudy.
pinkrudy notes:
taper messes with the volumes in in the flesh.
first show of the 1981 tour. they played ok but they could do better. sound is a bit different than the other dortmund shows. here its a bit more crunch sound and not as clear.
there is a supposed master of this source that should be 2nd or 1st gen which sounds good but overtweaked. this source is a bit more natural.

Comments: Aud- 1st gen TDK SA-C90&Maxell UDII60 Cass>playback on Sony GFD-G500>SB X-Fi Xtrememusic>FLAC48khz/24bit same taper as the master. the master seems to sound deeper and loud however when all the instruments kick in it sounds to crunchy. this 1st gen sound very nice and is a bit easier on the ears. but still a bit shrill. not as good as his other dortmund shows.
