notes:
This is from a 2nd generation tape of the 1st (bad) recorder of the gig. Sound
quality is stll not so good but a bit better than the version I got before, with
more instrument/vocal definition. In some parts the recording might reach the
VG+, depends on how the mics are exposed, actually there are a lotta
fluctuations of volume, some parts are really bad and covered by background
noise, others are clear. The contents are the same as on the version I got
before (that was mastered on CD without editing out repetitions between the
tapesides). The speed is a bit different. The only things I made after
transferring the tapes into my HD were:
- removed part of DLMN (repeated at the end of sideA and then on SideB of tape1)
.. the parts were merged perfectly and no point of junction is perceptible.
- removed a little part of the end of HY (audience) repeated at the beginning of
ITAOT .. the parts were merged perfectly and no point of junction is
perceptible.
- removed a little part of the beginning of RLH (on the Waters' intro) repeated
... the parts were merged perfectly and no point of junction is perceptible.
I speeded the tapes up a bit drectly from the deck cause it sounded a bit
slow...
Waters on RLH: "Thank you very much. Yeah, wow, wow, get down. Do you like our
pig? Home piggy. This next tune is one you can all clap your hands to.
(inaudible...) called 'Run Like Hell.'"
