2 tapers are in general circulation for this date, and both the recordings are around from the first generation tapes.

one taper (first) was nearer to the stage and the recording sounds really better than the second one, although the second one is complete, including all tune ups, whereas the first has  U&T fading out prematurely; but here we have to put things clear cause there's actually a version from the first recorder around that has the encores added from the second recorder with U&T fading out as well!!

here are some of the versions I checked for these recorders

recorder 1:

- UNTITLED (commonly entitled as just "First Generation") - complete

- Hurricane Floyd Hits Miami (DFP-361) - incomplete (with the 2 encores Money and U&T from the second recorder but having U&T cut at the end as on the first recorder) [NB: external link since I have it only in mp3 ... and I do not list mp3 sourced RoIOs in my collection here I posted some notes though]

- Hurricane Floyd Hits Miami (MoLM) - complete (not totally sure, should be from this recorder since I checked, but I did not get then, a RoIO entitled this way [and the MoLM use to 'recycle' existing titles] that has no patch from the second recorder)

recorder 2:

- UNTITLED [cas(1)>DAT(0)] - complete

- Hurricane Floyd Hits Miami (DFP-361) - incomplete (it'sfrom recorder 1/ has just Money and U&T as filler from this recorder 2)

very easy to identify the 2 recorders honestly, here are just some points as reference, please check especially the points on the encores for the reason explained above (to recognize a possible patched-version):

Sheep

recorder 1: after the first lyrics guys yell "sit down!!" then a guy yells " sit that fu**ing a** down ... sit down! ... you don't know, the fu*****"

recorder 2: at the beginning a guy says "sit down boy..."

Pigs

recorder 1: a lady talks to the taper at the very begining

recorder 2: (the song has a little cut near to the end of 3rd verse)

Welcome To The Machine

recorder 1: at the beginning you can clearly hear a lady talking and then a guy says "I do believe it's all sold out ...", then another guy (taper?) says "have you imagined that pig floating around out there.." and the lady replies "hehe...you know..."

recorder 2: there's a guy near to the taper shouting "wooooo" at the very beginning / before Gilmour starts singing the first "Welcome my son.." a guy shouts "yeeeaah"

Have a Cigar

recorder 1: a guy says "ow - ow - ow ..." at the very beginning

recorder 2: \\

recorder 1: a guy at the beginning says "hey, we didn't come here to listen to a record... it's exactly what they're doing, it's a record yeah" then another says "hey don't play us no record..."

recorder 2: \\

SOYCD (VI-IX)

recorder 1: near to the end of the song a guy shouts "get down" 3 times

recorder 2: \\

Money

recorder 1: at the beginning, while Waters' s testing the mic ("one-two, one-two, one") a lady says "money, eh?" and a guy then "once again!" ... then guys shout "sit down" and a guy says " don't play money" / at the end during the greetings a guy shouts "one more - one more!"

recorder 2: \\

U&T

recorder 1: a guys yells "Echoes!!" before the song starts ... then Waters announces U&T / the song is cut on "it's a busy day"

recorder 2: when Waters says "fu** 'em" announcing the song a guys near to the taper replies "ALL RIGHT!"
