notes:
from a different recorder
than Dark Side Of The Rising Sun or Cold Front etc...
this recording includes the complete performance but is of an inferior sound
quality than the other source.
this is somewhat the best version from this recorder so far, better than the 3rd
gen too, so I guess it's from a very low generation copy, or if it isn't it was
mastered very well; unfortunately runs a bit slow.
The first part of ACYL seems to be repeated.
last track is from March 8 '72 Festival Hall, Osaka (AHM was not
performed in this date)
and here comes the dilemma: it's a bit hard to tell from which recorder it comes.
if I can surely exclude the second recorder I find difficult to recognize here
the recorder 1 of the gig ... my version from the recorder one has no intro to
AHM and it cuts as soon as the song is over but from the very small portion of
applauses both at the beginning and the end I can notice differences from that
and this AHM as well ... they are very similar but on the first recorder there's
a guy whistling while the track fades out before the Waters' "Thank You" while
here there's a guy shouting "woo-woow" soon before the last greetings and at the
very beginning of the song there's a guy screaming something preceded by a
little whistle in the first source, while there's no whistle here ... so does
exist a complete recorder 3 too? |
