notes
This tape was mislabeled (as often happened) as Antwerpen February 20.
After a first deep disappointment about the date (I was hoping to find a genuine low gen of the Antwerpen recording on this tape), I was happy "at least" to find this an amazing version of the Paris 2-22 recording!!!
It is from an edited copy of the masters, missing some audience intermissions .... but what a SOUND!
It's more hissy but much crispier than the version from the master, the instruments and singing are soooo crystalline and the sound prospective is just soooo natural, perfect!
Pity for the small edits in the audience parts but great finding about the sound!
I transferred the tapes with the max amplification possible because, in spite of bit of hiss in the back, all is terrifically good this way. Some minutes of recording were repeated between the tape sides and I was able to join the music without any repetition or missing clip, there’s no point of junction noticeable.
Speed is a bit slow at times, noticeably on Pigs, but I didn't speedcorrected it.

haha charade you are!

Waters does not reveal any number during the gig, but you can notice a bass tune instead of a number on the 3rd verse of Pigs (exactly a scale of 5 notes).
