notes:

Very nice sounding version, this one is the most complete in circulation so far, the 3rdGeneration copy I checked already had a longer intro to Sheep than the 2ndGen, this version has it even longer (around 1 minute mote than the 2ndGen and 30 secs than the 3rdGen).

The sound is better than most of the version in circulation, I still prefer the sound of the 2ndGen. better though. This version also sounds a bit slow.

notes as they came with the files:
Lineage: Maxell XLII Cassettes x 2 > *Technics RS-B965-M > Focusrite Saffire Pro 14 > Audacity 1.3 > FLAC (24bit/96kHz)
xACT used to create FFP
*The Technics RS-B965-M is a modified deck - for details see the Tapeheads.net forum
Total running time 2 hour 33 mins 26 secs
A raw, high resolution transfer of a really nice sounding stereo recording of the troublesome last night of Pink Floyd's 1977 tour.
The songs are split across the four sides of Kbrubaker's cassettes as follows: Side A 01-04, Side B 05-07, Side C 08-10, and Side D the encores 11-13.
The only adjustments I made were in the analogue domain. Each side was slightly different to the previous one and required fine adjustments to balance the channels. You may notice that the output levels reduce after Money on Side D. It was tempting to pause and give this part of the transfer a boost with a larger turn of the gain dial on the Saffire 14 but I decided in the spirit of keeping the recording raw to let the tape run.

Thank you Jimfisheye for taking on the task of speed correcting my original transfer. The original was 75c flat. Money to U&T was 76c flat. Blues started speeding up considerably as a result of the recording deck slowing down as its battery ran low. JFE used a speed corrected version of recorder 2 for reference when correcting Blues.

haha charade you are!

Waters yells 19+61 on 3rd verse at 13:30/31/32

Waters sings "Nobody knows where WE are" on SOYCD 6-9 ... and laughs. Also Waters doesn't sing in tune in many occasions during this concert, for the "rants-collection" have a look at the link below.
