setlist: Atom Heart Mother / Careful With That Axe, Eugene / Fat Old Sun /  The Embryo / Echoes (The Return Of The Son Of Nothing) / Set The Controls For The Hear Of The Sun / Cymbaline /  A Saucerful Of Secrets

2 recorders are in general circulation for this date both not complete as it seems. Recorder 1 is in general circulation for long, it circulated in many different versions, 2 main sources can be isolated of it; recorder 2 is not as easy to find and surfaced as filler of the Japanese boot "A New Piece Of Music". Both the recorders were in the same section in the hall, same comments of the audience are clearly audible in both the recordings as stated below....

recorder1: the most common recorder, it is cut on ASOS (only 3 mins of ASOS are included in all the copies) many different versions/copies of this recording exist, some missing entire songs, 2 main sources can be identified , here are some examples of some of the versions I checked:

tape/source 1a. almost the complete recording (as recorded by this taper) I checked 2 tapes, almost identical (here's info for cassB):

Parts of the recording missing on this source and present in the other one are: the tuneups/intro to AHM (present on source2); all the tuneups at the end of CWTAE (there's no cut on source2 and then FOS starts); Fat Old Sun is cut at the very end (it isn't on source2 and there are even tuneups and intro to The Embryo)

Parts of the recording more on this source and missing in the other one are: The whole Cymbaline and ASOS portion (missing totally on my version of source2); AHM and CWTAE have no cut in between, on source2 some seconds of applauses/tuneups are missing; Set The Controls For The Hear Of The Sun is complete, it's cut at the end on source2

tape/source 1b. Contents are slightly different than on other tapes from this source, here Echoes doesn't fade out but is cut at the very very end and ASOS cuts a bit earlier.

tape/source 1c. an incomplete version with the sets inverted, or rather with songs in a wrong order. Missing totally STC.

tape/source 2. incomplete version having more intermissions between songs but totally missing Cymbalyne and ASOS, this was used as main source on the Japanese boot "A New Piece Of Music"

Parts of the recording more on this source and missing in the other one are: the tuneups/intro to AHM; all the tuneups at the end of CWTAE; Fat Old Sun is not cut at the very end there are even tuneups and intro to The Embryo.

Parts of the recording missing on this source and present in the other one are: The whole Cymbaline and ASOS portion (missing totally here); AHM and CWTAE have a cut in between, some seconds of applauses/tuneups are missing; Set The Controls For The Hear Of The Sun is cut at the end.

UPDATE: a new source of this recorder is recently surfaced from Reels released by Doinker, having the contents of the sources mentioned above together + a couple of pieces of recording more that were not in the sources available before, still having The Embryo cut at the end and missing almost all ASOS unfortunately.

recorder2 not so easy to find, it reveals a worse SQ than recorder 1 and runs terribly slow; this was used as filler on the Japanese boot "A New Piece Of Music" where the Japanese guys speeded up the filled part too much. The recorder is not complete missing the beginning of AHM, the end of FOS, the beginning of The Embryo, part of Cymbaline (cut in the middle), the first part of ASOS (there's only Celestial Voices) and STC. This as far as this tape tells;

recently a 5th or 6th generation tape is around too from this recorder.

the main points to distinguish the 2 recorders are here listed:
AHM:

recorder 1 at the end guy "yeeeh" > applauses / tuneups > intro to CWTAE

recorder 2 at the end guy "yeeeh" > Waters "Thank You" / cut > tuneups > intro to CWTAE
CWTAE:

recorder 1  as soon as Waters introduces the song guys near to the tapes yell "eeeeeeh" and clap > someone in the audience yells something in german far from the mic; at the end only aplauses > Waters "Thank You" > tuneups ... and you can hear a guy near to the taper saying "Roger"

recorder 2 as soon as Waters introduces the song guys near to the taper yell "eeeeeeh" and clap >  someone in the audience yells something in german near to the mic; at the end, as soon as Waters stops whispering, you can year a guy behind the taper saying "hoho" > Waters "Thank You" > tuneups

FOS

recorder 1 -

recorder 2 the song is cut before the end

The Embryo

recorder 1 the end is cut then there are applauses and Waters says "...short break" /cut > tuneups to TROTSON where you can hear a guy talking in German and a girl near to the recorder > Waters' intro to TROTSON

recorder 2 the song is missing the beginning / at the end Waters says "...short break" ..applauses > german announcer / cut >  > Waters' intro to TROTSON

TROTSON

recorder 1 after the Waters' intro to TROTSON a guy yells in a silly voice "ahh-ahhh!" and guys around laugh, soon after the first "pin" a girl near to the recorder clearly says something on the mic in german, then the same guy as before yells "aahh" and she says "nah"; at the very end there are only applauses then a guy yells "yeah yeah" near to the mic and another guy yells "bravo" (3 times) > long tuneups

recorder 2 after the Waters' intro to TROTSON a guy yells in a silly voice "ahh-ahhh!" and guys around laugh, after the first "pin" there's no-one talking near to the recorder  then there's a tapeflip with some seconds missing; at the end before the first applauses someone murmours something in the back > applauses, then a guy yells "yeah yeah" and another guy yells "bravo" (you can here him yelling it only 1 time here) > long tuneups
STC:

recorder 1 at the end a guy yells "bravo"

recorder 2 this song is here totally missing, the recording starts again with Cymbaline

Cymbaline:

recorder 1 a guy at the very beginning says "whaahh -aghha"

recorder 2 the song is cut in the middle
ASOS:

recorder 1  long tuneups at the beginning, the song cuts after 3 minutes

recorder 2  first part totally missing, there's just the Celestial Voices part on this recorder
