magazine scans thanks to Pict!

setlist: Raving And Drooling / You Gotta Be Crazy / Shine On You Crazy Diamond (Parts I-V) / Have A Cigar / Shine On You Crazy Diamond (Parts VI-IX) / The Dark Side Of The Moon / Echoes

1 complete recorder is in circulation for this gig, a 2nd recorder can be found on fantapes often edited

the 2 tapers were very near one another; at the beginning of the song audience comments are quite similar, but then they are definitely different.

recorder 1: "Roosvelt Stadium" (JFG) from 5th gen; "untitled" (3 CDs, supposed 1st gen.) - complete, this is actually from the master, as this version obtained by the taper reveals.

recorder 2: the Echoes track put as filler on the Fillmore East 70-9-27 T's cass (tape was actually labelled Fillmore 72) and this nice cass>MD having part of Dark Side +  You Gotta Be Crazy + Echoes ... this recorder is complete.

to distinguish the 2 recorders from Echoes:

on rec.1 there are guys very near to the taper yelling "sit down, sit down" right before Waters and Gilmour greet the crowd;

on rec.2 the taper says "woo" on the mic before the greetings

review from Sounds:
FLOYD GET A BLOWOUT
by Chuck Pulin
(transcribed by Pict)
The Pink Floyd ran into trouble at their Roosevelt Stadium open-air gig recently. The flaming airplane which sails onto the stage at the climax of their set got stuck some 50 feet before it reached the stage and burnt out over the heads of the audience. The Floyd also had wind problems - their giant pyramid stage covering threatened to blow away for most of the performance. The set comprised mostly new material plus some oldies like 'Heart Of The Sun'. The crowd of nearly 40,000 were kept entranced by the back projection and Floyd's quad sound.
