1981 June 13: Together we can take over the world

setlist: the usual one

Waters on Run Like Hell: "Thank you. Good evening. Do you like our pig? Home piggy. This next tune is for all the paranoids in the audience. I'm sure there are many. It's called 'Run Like Hell'. You can all clap your hands to this one. Zis is a disco number, jah. That's right. Together we can take over the world!"

recorders known: few ones (prolly over 2)

recorders in circulation on CD: 2;

recorder 1: Untitled (Performed Live).. this is the most common version unfortunately, it has very bad edits; LowGen

recorder 2: an incomplete recording, this is a version from a 1stGen  - 31 minutes only .. till GBS; I don't know if this taper recorded more.

1981 June 14: We're Not That Sort Of Group

setlist: the usual one

Waters on Run Like Hell: "Thank you very much. I wish I could say we're sorry for the delay, but we're not that sort of a group. Go home piggy! Do you like our pig? This next tune is one you can all clap your hands to (drowned out by guitar)...is for you and it's called 'Run Like Hell."

recorders known: few ones (prolly over 2)

recorders in circulation on CD: 2

recorder 1: the most common one maybe, this was recently released on the series WWRM, a raw version from tape has been also put in circulation, I never found a tape of this recorder to compare with them.

recorder 2: this surfaced on the MoLM series, the MoLM version has Outside the Wall missing and was patched there from another date there, low gen fantapes reveal OTW was recorded by this taper.

very hard to find points to recognize the 2 recorders cause the crowd near to the2 tapes is very silent, to pint out only different kind of whistles isn't  helpful to write down you'd need a listen; ... although there are some points to distinguish them apart from the whistles:

The MC intro at the beginning:

recorder 1: as soon as the recording starts after "we're gonna have a fine show this evening" there's a lady laughing in the back

recorder 2: as soon as the recording starts after "we're gonna have a fine show this evening" you can herar the taper moving the mic

Young Lust

recorder 1: a man yells "woo" in the back soon before Waters announces Young Lust.

recorder 2: //

The MC intro (second set):

recorder 1: weird patch at the beginning, it sounds like  the taper stopped the recorder after "the stage is set, the band..." (fades out) and restarts from "well I think the band is maybe ready to begin... no not quite yet"

recorder 2: the MC intro is 100% complete, very long one

Waiting For The Worms

recorder 1: you can hear at the very beginning a lady and a man talking in the back, very distant but audible

recorder 2: //

1981 June 15: Is there anyone who worries about things? Pathetic!

setlist: the usual one

Waters on Run Like Hell: "Thank you very much! Do you like our pig? He obviously doesn't like some one over there. So in an audience this size there are bound to be a few outsiders. Are there any paranoids in the audience tonight? Is there anyone who worries about things? Pathetic! If we spend too much time worrying about things we won't get on! Together we can rule Earl's Court. Anyway, for those few of you who are undiscovered here, this one's called 'Run Like Hell.' This one we can all clap our hands to! Not yet, wait for it...(start ranting on)"

recorders known: few ones (surely over 2)

recorders in circulation on CD: 2;

recorder 1: untitled ("The Wall Of The Court") in general circulation; Fantapes like this 1stGen reveal the same contents as the version in circulation.

recorder 2: around on fantapes, this seems to have a little portion of The Trial cut (near to the end), and seems to totally miss the MC intro at the beginning;  the first set also cuts as soon as GBC is over and the second restarts right from the first notes of Hey You.

a good ID point is at the very beginning of Hey You where there's a lady clearly talking and laughing, she goes on talking with other guys during almost all the songs too. This recorder seems to circulate on CD for some time from an unknown generation copy of the masters, notes about a raw transfer from unknown generation fantapes that i transferred myself are also available here

1981 June 16: Let's all have a fu**ing good whistle

setlist: the usual one

Waters on Run Like Hell: "Thank you very much. This, this next song's for all the whistlers in the audience. Are there any whistlers in the audience tonight? Let's all have a fucking good whistle. Christ, I must learn to do that, it sounds like such fun. This is called Run Like Hell. Mmm, I'd like to see you all getting your hands together and having a good time. Mmmm, disco! Get down!"

recorders known:  (prolly over 2)

recorders in circulation on CD: 2

recorder 1: the most common one released for the MoLM series

recorder 2: around from a 1stGen copy of the master (entitled WARM THRILL OF CONFUSION), other versions always from 1stGen are around of an inferior quality that that. Mind that some tapes might be mixed somewhat with the recording (recorder 1) of the 81.6.17 show so keep your ears strained when you check tapes.

1981 June 17: The Last Brick

setlist: the usual one

Waters on Run Like Hell: "Thank you, welcome! Are you gonna have a good time? Does anyone here like pigs? This one is for all you WEAK people in the audience! Is there anyone here who's weak? This is for you; it's called 'Run Like Hell.' Let's all have a clap!"

recorders known:  (prolly over 4)

recorders in circulation on CD: 4;

recorder 1: there are tons of RoIOs, the most famous are "Wall Live" and the MoLM remaster; this is the one having speed problems.

recorder 2: the Skelly's recording, the master was re-entitled "Wall St. Crash", this is the one that sounds a bit more distant.

recorder 3: lately surfaced from the master tapes is the best sounding one so far, the MoLM speedcorreced a raw and longer version of it; it was also released fresh from the tapes in a 48K version

recorder 4: recently surfaced has a not very good SQ, taped far in the hall, the master was kindly donated by the taper to be spread.

recorder 5: recently found on tape this recorder is of a very good quality and is missing the first part of Hey You as it seems, the rest is complete, this is a version from a 1stGen tape

very easy to distinguish them from one point only, right during the first announcement by Gary Yudman:

on recorder 1 after he says "...Any camera found being used will be confiscated...": taper yells "bollocks"

on recorder 2 after Yudman says "Believe me, there'll be enough explosions in your mind" the taper laughs.

on recorder 3 after he says "...Any camera found being used will be confiscated...": taper says "boo" and he or his friend also whistles then.

on recorder 4 after he says "...my name is Gary Yudman and we're gonna have a fine show this evening..." the taper and a friend yels "we are here" or something like that

on recorder 5 when Yudman says "will be shot" the taper says the same along with him (the intro starts on this recorder right on this point)
